Chair for “big data: methods and tools for a sustainable habitat”

Saint-Gobain and Mines Nancy have announced the creation of a three-year chair for research and teaching in the field of big data through sponsorship from the Mines Nancy Foundation. The chair for “big data: methods and tools for a sustainable habitat” aims to study the potential of new solutions for analyzing big data, especially open-source information.The focus will largely be on applying these solutions to building sciences and sustainable habitat, with a view to using data to understand and improve comfort criteria (visual, acoustic, thermal and air quality) while delivering energy savings.
